The Triplet Falls are located in the Great Otway National park, near the Great Ocean road.
It normally has 3 flows of water cascading, depending on how much rain has fallen.
The Triplet Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Great Otway Park and offers a stunning one hour loop (2 km) walk through ancient rainforest. View the lower cascades as you follow raised walkways through the forest of Mountain Ash and Myrtle Beech to the main falls.
As you leave the forest you can begin to hear the roar of Triplet Falls where a series of elevated viewing platforms provide you with spectacular views of the three cascades.
This area is also the site of an original Otways timber mill.
The trail runs past the site and displays artifacts from the era.
The name is very simple: there are three falls that cascade to the floor of the valley

A photo blog with my modest collection of Australian waterfalls I've photographed over the last couple of years. Hopefully you will see this blog grow in time. Tell me what you think.

Wentworth falls - Blue mountains NSW
My first waterfall I visited in Australia was the Wentworth Falls in NSW.
Located in the heart of the Blue Mountains.
Wentworth Falls is a seasonal three-tiered waterfall fed by the Jamison Creek, near the town of Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. The falls are accessible via the National Pass Walking Trail and the Overcliff/Undercliff Walk.
The total height of the waterfall is 187 metres.
Directions well present.
Upper tier of Wentworth Falls.
From the top of Wentworth Falls you have scenic views over the expansive Jamison Valley to the south.
View of upper falls from the Undercliff walk trail.
The name was changed in 1879 to Wentworth Falls
in honour of William Charles Wentworth, one of the three famous explorers.
Approximate coordinates: -33.727633, 150.374026
